MIA DORA release

Mia Dora refuse to quit this summer. Following their debut EP for Glasgow label High Sheen, they’ve kept us keen with two brilliant remixes for Mash and Parker as well as dropping a mind boggling good DJ mix to top off what’s been a very productive summer for them. They have another massive collaboration with High Sheen label mates HaHaHa & Raksha on the way but for now they are back with another solo EP, this time for Moda Black. 4 tracks of undefinable, unquestionable and oh so playable electronic scorchers, ‘Occam’s Razor’ is just one of many reasons why Mia Dora are set for the biggest of things form here on in.

Grum Remix of Mary Epworth ‘Long Gone.’

Due out on June 11th on Hand Of Glory Records, this remix has taken the original and spun it into a facemeltingly (Mary’s quote) fantastic mix. Check it out here:

Mia Dora release track on new Glasgow label High Sheen.

High Sheen’s debut release is a collaboration between three of the label’s resident artists – Mia Dora, HaHaHa & Raksha – who over the coming months will have their own EPs put to wax in their own rights. For now ‘High Sheen’ is the result, the eponymous song on which they have merged their three distinctive styles to create a piece of truly interesting club music that sets the tone for what the label is building towards in the future.

Small Pyramids ‘I Want Blood’ released

Zach’s debut release, the classy space-disco “I Want Blood” was one of DJ magazine’s Singles of 2012. This recent tripped-out rework of Mary Epworth’s “Black Doe” sparked an internet sharing spree with tastemaker sites like Mixmag, LaGaSta & Golden Scissors featuring the mix. Look out for his next track “The Music” due to be released on Glasgow Underground Spring Summer Sampler in a few weeks….
